The view was amazing, but opening windows let in too much noise.

the views were quite stunning, but far from enough to distract from the unbearable heat in the room. oh, and the restaurant closed without notice? talk about a culinary catastrophe. it woudl ve been nice to receive some form of special treatment for putting up with this misery, but i guess that’s just asking too much.

What stands out – both good and bad
The location is fantastic, directly across from the train station, and staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, even assisting with recommendations to enhance our experience.

I stayed in the Small Double Room with Private Bathroom for 3 nights. The room was modern and super clean, with good storage. The shower was great, good water pressure too! I mean, the view was stunning. Only downside was that my mountain view was blocked a bit by the train station across the street. Still, it’s super convenient for traveling around. Really nice place overall!

We had an amazing time exploring Murren. The breakfast had plenty of delicious options, making our family mornings delightful. One of our favorite experiences was the stunning views while hiking up to the Schilthorn, a great adventure for all ages.
My kids wished for more space in our room.

The indoor pool and spa were highlights, especially after hiking. The breathtaking balcony views made our stay unforgettable. We had so much fun watching the World Cup match with other guests!
Felt so much at home, no reason to complain.

missingWrote a review on 22 Juncramped roomcold bathroom
The room felt cramped with a low sloped roof that made it uncomfortable for taller guests!!! The bathroom could use better heating as it felt cold compared to the chilly outside temperatures!!! More facilities would help justify the high price!!!

Couple getaway, a true escape
From the moment we stepped out of the train and saw the welcoming staff ready to grab our bags it felt different than just a regular stay. The food was exceptional, especially the pizzas and Swiss specialties like rosti and fondue, and every bite made me appreciate the simple joys. We even got a complimentary card for the local swimming pool, and sledging down after a long day was just the thrill we needed.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but worth every penny for the experience we got.
